Total Facility Power (kW) Total power drawn from the utility meter — includes IT load, cooling, lighting, UPS losses, everything.

IT Equipment Load (kW) Power consumed by servers, storage, networking equipment only — measured at PDU output or IT meter.

Cooling Load (kW) (optional) CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers, aisle containment fans.

UPS / Power Distribution Losses (kW) (optional) UPS inefficiency, PDU losses, transformer losses. Typically 5–10% of IT load.

Lighting & Other (kW) (optional) Lighting, security systems, building management, staff areas.
